Chemours Freon R410A

Chemours Freon™ R-410A is a hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerant blend that became the standard refrigerant for residential and light commercial air conditioning and heat pump systems, replacing R-22. It is a near-azeotropic blend operating at higher system pressures than R-22, offering strong heat-transfer performance.

Environmental & Handling Notes
R-410A has zero ozone-depletion potential but a relatively high global warming potential, and is being phased down in many markets under HFC-reduction regulations. Lower-GWP HFO-based alternatives such as Opteon™ XL41 (R-454B) are increasingly used as its long-term replacement.
