Chemours Freon R507

Chemours Freon™ R-507 is a hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) azeotropic refrigerant blend used primarily in low-temperature commercial refrigeration. It was developed as a replacement for R-502 and offers zero temperature glide, making it well suited to low-temperature applications.

Environmental & Handling Notes
R-507 has zero ozone-depletion potential but a high global warming potential and is being phased down under HFC-reduction regulations in many markets. Lower-GWP HFC/HFO alternatives such as Opteon™ XP40 (R-449A) and Opteon™ XP44 (R-452A) are commonly used as retrofit or new-equipment replacements.
