Helium supplied in steel cylinders at 2000 PSI for welding, leak detection and specialty applications.
Available Grades:
Balloon Grade — supplied in K-size cylinders. Suited for balloon inflation and general lifting-gas use.
High Purity Grade — 99.999% purity, supplied in 40-litre cylinders. Used as a shielding gas for TIG welding of aluminium and other non-ferrous metals, for helium leak detection, and in analytical and scientific instrumentation.
Handling & Safety: Helium is inert, non-flammable and lighter than air, but can displace oxygen in enclosed spaces — ensure adequate ventilation, particularly when filling balloons or venting cylinders indoors.
