Opteon™ XL41 R454B

Opteon™ XL41 (R-454B) is a non-ozone-depleting hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) based refrigerant developed as a high-performance, lower-GWP replacement for R-410A in air conditioning and chiller systems. It closely matches R-410A's performance — in some cases with superior capacity and efficiency — while enabling a straightforward conversion for equipment manufacturers.

Environmental & Handling Notes
Opteon™ XL41 has a GWP of 466 — a 78% reduction versus R-410A — with a low temperature glide and easy top-off after leaks. It is miscible with POE lubricants. As an A2L refrigerant it is mildly flammable; follow local codes for charge limits and safe handling.
